    Hej!

Original-SSO släpptes under Sampling Plus-licensen. Vad som står i dokumentationen för VPO och varför är en fråga för Paul Battersby och inte mig, men om jag ska våga mig på en gissning så har Paul modifierat samplingarna från SSO och släppt de nya versionerna under en ny licens. 🙂

Is there any chance that you can put the Talisman Digital Edition Soundtrack on Spotify please?

I’ve recently bought a physical edition of the game and your soundtrack is such a well crafted and perfect accompaniment that I miss from the digital edition.

hello, I’d like to understand if you can use, albeit old, the SSO in commercial song, with the attribution of the name of the library, or it is not necessary… the definition of CC1, I don’t find it clear …

Just use it as you would any other instrument. The licensing thing is just for the distribution of the samples themselves.

    Dear Mattias.
Was trying to work out how to use the SYX-G50 – didn’t realise you couldn’t access the other sounds from the GUI, thanks for your explanation – and I heard the piece you’d written using it.

It’s the soundtrack for a heartbroken fairytale, I had visions of a fairy with damaged wings looking down at her kingdom full of marauding Orcs, before walking alone across the mountaintop. And I wanted to be there with her.

Thankyou for that. It prob. wouldn’t have worked so well on any other sounds, it’s its game soundtrack element that took me into her world. A magical piece of New Age, thankyou for it.

    Yours respectfully

    Chris.

    good morning,

I read that many famous artists use PSR keyboard like David Paich-Ellis Hall.
could you tell me which general midi and XGLITE voices use famous artists?

    Dear Mattias Westlund,

I hope this message finds you well.
I am Sound Creator, and I am writing to inquire about the copyright and licensing matters related to Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra (SSO), created by Mattias Westlund.

I am interested in using a few sound samples from SSO.
(About 0.1 to 2.0 seconds in length)

These samples will undergo degradation and other processing before being incorporated into my custom VST3 plugin.
I intend to include these modified samples as part of the sound library within the plugin and subsequently sell the plugin.

Could you please provide information on whether it is possible to obtain permission for this use? Additionally, if there are any copyright fees or specific licensing requirements, please let me know.
If there are specific licensing requirements or copyright notices that need to be included, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
I look forward to your response and hope for a positive outcome.

    Best regards

    Hi Mattias,

I appreciate you no longer offer support for it, so I am sorry to bother you with this, but I have an issue that I was hoping you might be able to help me with.

I made a series of songs back in 2014 using your orchestral pack, but I used the individual WAV samples which aren’t available anywhere online (I have looked) which need to be referenced in the projects in order for me to be able to work on the tracks now.

I wondered whether you still had the original files ie. all the WAVs rather than packaged into SFZ files etc?

I would be so, so grateful if you did and would be able to share them with me. Again I am sorry to bother you with this but I cant find the files anywhere else.

I hope this finds you well,

    Best wishes,

    J
